Gryffindor Tie Scarf

The Half Blood Prince is tonight and I have my tie striped Gryffindor scarf half finished. It's getting close to the length I'd like to have it but I may run out of the burgundy Sulky Malabrigo before it gets there. I'm so excited!

Silky Gryffindor

Lacking my school robe I bought
Some Silky Malabrigo in Sand (gold) and Burgundy at Knitorious here in St Louis and I am knitting a biased scarf with school tie styled striping. I have hubby's slytherin tie to use as a stripping guide. Luv this yarn!!

Sewing FAIL!

Sew... This is how far I got sewing my own Gryffindor robes before my sewing machine gave out and prices of it broke off... No robe for me at the HBP premier.

What Little Monster Did

Mommy was busy on Ravelry picking out a new sock pattern and when she looks down what does she see? Her little mobster has decided to try and help her finish her Spina Di Pesce socks! Just imagine what this would look like if I used DPNs!

Hmmm

I think I'm going on vacation this week. We may be visiting San Francisco or San Diego or we may just hang out at the house until I kill my husband. He wont make up his mind even though he took the week off.

I've been brain storming with my other Phoenix Cabin members on what to put in my kit for my spoilee Lilly May Clearwater and I've got some awsome ideas and some awsome yarn picked out! woohoo!
