1. What is the one knitting accessory you could not live without?
My Denise knitting needle set. I know what size needles I have at all times. And my 30 or so seamstress tapes laying around the house. But the big monster frequesntly gets ahold of those and then I have no idea where they are so scratch that.

2. If you're heading on vacation, do you take knitting with you? If so, how much and what type of project?
Ok I don't leave the house without my knitting bag. I have at least 2 projects in there and then at least 2 random balls of yarn just incase I get inspired on the road. My boys always fall asleep in the car and so when I get to the supermarket I just sit in the parking lot and knit. Or when I get home I do the same thing. :) And I have at least 2 knitting books with me too. I suppose I should just keep an emergency knitting bag with a simple sock pattern in it at all times so I don't have to lug my bag around.
3. Where have you travelled to that you'd consider your favorite spot?
We recently took a trp up the PCH and I'd say I fell inlove with the Oregon coast. Cannon Beach is amazing! You can see pictures on my flickr badge.
4. What is your favorite knitting book at the moment? Do you own it?
My fav right now would be "no sheep for you" because of all the info about different fibers other than wool. I live in the desert and so it's got good info about substituting yarns for wool yarns. I like wool but winter is so short here!
5. Do you listen to podcasts? Which is your favorite(s)?
OMG lime and Violet are hillarious! They are why I tryed knitting socks in the first place! I also like stash and burn, and subscribe to a bunch more but those are the 2 I listen to religiously.
6. If you could only knit with 1 color for the rest of your life, what color would that be?
Oh that is hard... Blue or hot pink... ok ok blue, or maybe chocalte brown? no blue deffinatly blue... I think...

7. If you were far into a project and then noticed a mistake near the beginning what would you do?
Depends on the mistake but I'd most likely just keep going. But is it was really really noticeable and would drive me crazy every time I saw it I would frog it. I knit my nephew a sweater to come home from the hospital in and I messed up only one stitch and just kept going but now every time I see it I want to rip it out and reknit the whole thing even though he's a year and a half old now.

8. Where is the most unsual spot you've ever knit?
Actualy just today I was at the bank with both the boys in the stroller and was knitting away on my newest self created pattern while waiting in line. But the worst place I have ever knit was in the car while driving. Oh yes I have done it. I guess it comes from being part of the generation who text messages searches our ipods for new songs and puts on makeup at the same time. But I came to my senses quickly and only knit at traffic lights for the rest of the ride home. But in my deffense I had just left my lys (wich sucks but that is beside the point) and I was dieing to cast on.
ok so I guess you do now know a few of my dirty little secrets. On with life.
