Well it's a little late but here is my Sunday rant. Who are these people who are what I would call super moms? How do they do it. A day would be I baked a cake, sewed a quilt, knit up a sweater, baked some bread, breastfed a newborn, recorded a podcast, took pictures of my cat and am participating in the blog every day in November thing, and took care of 15 kids who I also home school. WTF!
I can hardly keep the laundry washed and the floors clean! I have to sneak in knitting when my kids aren't looking! My lord just breaking up the fights and trying to block out the random screams of "Expeliamous!" and "Avracadavra!" and "AAAAaaaaaaaaaAAAA!!!!!!" are killing me! Not to mention super gluing a stupid broken harry potter wand 40 times a day! Can you tell that the big monster is in love with harry potter?
If anyone can tell me a book or a video that will turn me into one of these supermoms without the use of certain illegal substances please let me know. What am I doing that sucks up my day?
And that is my Sunday rant

I have been looking for that Supermom drug myself! I like your blog. People ask me about why I call them that. I always say"Have you met them?"
I know what you mean! I used to be a super mom a few years ago too! I worked shift work in the paper mill,8 hour shifts. I would be able to do all my housework, laundry, go to all our sons baseball, football, hockey games and still have all the meals on the table on time! I worked a rotating shift, so had 5 days of each shift and still had time to knit and do 3 or 4 crafts fairs every fall with handknit socks, mittens, hats, socks and sweaters. Today I find I am lucky to get my fat butt out of bed by 8 am and do my laundry. Just hubby and I are home now, and I just do not manage my time well at all! I have physical therapy 3 times a week and that seems to be it for those days. LOL
Now that we are back in town and I have to run up and down stairs to put laundry away, it waits for DH to get home from work so he can haul it back up the cellar stairs and then up the stairs to the bedroom.
I do find time to knit at night. And now that we are home, I find that I am spending too much time on the computer again.!
My God Lynn! How in all heven and earth did you do that? Am I just unorganized or just too selfish with my time? My lord! Share your secrets!
