My first Fetching made from the yummy Baby Suri Alpaca and Merino blend yarn my HSKS7 pal sent me modeled infront of the bag she sent me. Working on the second one now. Love this pattern and yarn! Thank You

More Potter Stuff

Just saw Star Trek with my Dad and Sis and there was a new extended thatrical trailer for HBP!! So awsome! And Atar Trek was fast paced action and funny as hell! At Brendan Theaters at the Palms here in Vegas there was a bunch of Potter Posters. Here u go!

Kids are funny!

No this is not a Halloween picture. My son came down from his room dressed like this the other day. Rarely does a day go by that he isn't wearing either his quiditch robes or his Hogwarts robes at some point during the day. His explanations about why isn't currently at Hogwarts are becoming more and more elaborate. On this particular day he had a pass to go home because he was sick.

My son says to me "You know when I was a baby in your tummy you didn't REALLY know what my REAL name was so you named me Jj instead"
I say "oh yeah? What is your real name?"
His answer "Harry Potter, but you know that now!"

Also because mommy has been watching Twilight and we have listened to the books I have been informed that Harry Potter is not only a Wizard but he is also a Vampire because Vampires are super strong and can jump really high.

God I love the imaginary world of kids!

HSKS7 Package recived!

I received my package from Allitrya Spelling of Ravenclaw yesterday after a pretty crappy day. And it is Fraking AWESOME! I love love love the bag she made me! I will have to make one to match all my clothes! This one rocks! I'm taking it to knit night with me to show off! She also got me the stitch markers that were on my etsy wish list Infinity Stitch Markers from Twice Sheared Sheep! woo!!! Some gorgeous suri aplaca and merino yarn in a lovely blue to make Fetching fingerless gloves and a tape measure I always need one of those my kids always run off with mine. Some really cool Gryffindor buttons and Knitpicks Harmony DPNs to use for my Fetchings. She really took a look at my queue!
The kids saw my Gryffindor colored cherry flavored Tic Tacs and most of them are gone they kept finding them and eating them! They love those. I did happen to hide the chocolate so I figure the mints are a fair trade to keep my chocolate safe! Notice I did break into those M&Ms right away1 Those are my favorites!
